Free SAT Diagnostic
Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
Greetings:
We would like you to know about a free SAT diagnostic test that will be held at the Swift house on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Have you started thinking about the SAT? Do you have questions about the new SAT and want answers? It's not too early to start now. If you want to figure out where you stand now, consider taking an SAT diagnostic test to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses and make a plan to prepare for the real thing. Also, come and ask questions of our teachers! Who can come? High school boys in any grade level who are interested in taking the SAT this spring. Seating is limited to the first twenty-five students that sign up. Officially the SAT lasts 3 hours and 45 minutes including the essay component. So after the test you are going to be hungry. So please join us at 1:30 p.m. after the test for a hamburger and hot dog cookout. Your parents and friends are free to come as well.
What is offered?
Short introduction to the new SAT (parents are welcome to stay for the first 30 minutes)
· Q & A session at the beginning where both parents and students can ask questions.
· Discuss upcoming SAT Prep course which will launch in February 2016 in preparation for the May 7th test. Registration will be limited to 25 boys.
· 9:30 a.m. - Diagnostic Test
· 1:30 p.m. - Cookout
· Private consultation in your home scheduled at a later date if you wish.
Note: Parents are welcome and highly encouraged to come for the first 30 minutes of the session for the introduction and the question and answer segment. After that, the diagnostic test begins. Parents can then return at 1:30 p.m. to pick up their sons or join us for a cookout at the Swift House and ask the teachers questions about the SAT and college. Seating is limited to the first 25 boys that sign up. You may either RSVP directly to Richard Gosselin at chaucer.hspt@gmail.com or RSVP by filling in your name and email address below.
