Lakeland Counselors will be meeting with students individually to discuss course selections from March 7 through March 18.

During these meetings Counselors are reviewing schedule choices that students have entered, answering any questions the students may have, checking that the math placement is appropriate, reviewing transcripts to see if necessary graduation requirements are being met, and making recommendations for electives or advanced placement classes that may be appropriate for that particular student.

MSU's Vet-A-Visit

Vet-A-Visit is MSU College of Veterinary Medicine's annual open house, where everyone is welcome to join and learn about the fascinating world of veterinary medicine. See all kinds of animals, find out what it takes to become a veterinarian, and tour our state-of-the-art facilities. If you love science and animals, or are interested in a career in veterinary medicine, Vet-a-Visit is for you.

Explore your full leadership potential through Junior Leadership Oakland. There is no GPA requirement - simply a willingness to learn and interact with others to uncover your full leadership potential.

Junior Leadership Oakland is the place that encourages and empowers young adults to develop their full potential through three, full-day interactive workshops.

The Junior Leadership Oakland Program is FREE to participate, however you must apply to this highly sought-after summer program.

CMU Leadership Camp

Leadership Camp 2016 will take place on the campus of Central Michigan University May 15-17 and May 20-22. Camp is offered to admitted CMU students for the Fall and high school juniors who are considering CMU as their school of choice​. CMU's follow-up program, LCamp 2.0, is also being offered for students who attended Leadership Camp 2015 and are admitted to CMU for fall 2016. A $125 conference fee is required to reserve your space (See Fee Waiver Policy on the Leadership Camp Website). The Office of Residence Life will cover all remaining meal and lodging expenses. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from Mount Pleasant.

Each camp can only serve 150 ​prospective CMU students, so you are encouraged to register and make payment as soon as possible.

Application deadline is April 21, 2016 or until all spaces are filled.

  • March 16 - Freshman Expo 6:30-8:00 for parents and their 8th grade students
  • March 20 - National College Fair @ Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi (2:00-4:00pm)
