Notes from the Nurse
Parents of 7th grade girls and 8th grade boys.
Spinal Screenings will take place starting Monday, December 13th through February.
If you do not want your student tested please send a note to the nurse or email the nurse at Tracy.Solis@nisd.net, please include your child’s name.
School nurses will check the students for signs of spinal problems such as Scoliosis.The screener will look at the student’s back while he/she stands and bends forward. If a student does not pass the screening, a referral form will be sent home by the school nurse.
-UHS immunization bus will be available during the break. Please make an appointment if you need vaccines. See attached flyer.

Counselor's Corner
6th and 7th grade students have now heard about the course options offered next year at Hobby. Please start talking with your child about these options. Students will be entering their course selections into HAC after we return from Winter break.
The Texas Diaper Bank is teaming with Northside ISD to host a diaper distribution at Gus Stadium on Fridays, December 10 & 17. These distributions will include diapers for babies and sanitizer. On Dec 17, they will also have jackets for little ones.
No registration is required, just show up! Families should enter the Hardin Athletic Complex at the traffic light on Culebra nearest the Transportation Station and the Baseball fields. Northside police will direct the families to the assigned area.
