Summary

Two people were going around burning down buildings. They also murdered 2 people. It is believed that they had a much bigger plan in mind, however with all of the trace evidence they left behind they were arrested and convicted.

On the night of June 18, 1999, arsonists destroyed the library and damaged the sanctuary

at the B’Nai Israel Synagogue in Sacramento, California. Within the next 45 minutes,

fires were set at two other synagogues, Beth Shalom and Kennesset Israel.

The people they murdered was the openly gay couple, Gary Matson and Winfred Mauder.
