NTTBF!
We took a group of students to the North Texas Teen Book Festival in March! We had a great group of kids wake up early on a Saturday for books and authors!
Genrefied!
The time and effort it took to genrefy our fiction collection has payed off! It's so much easier for our students to find the books that they like to read.
SSR!
Thank you for continuing to make SSR a priority during your Advisory time.
ALL AMERICAN BOYS' Book Club
These boys enjoyed reading ALL AMERICAN BOYS and becoming a FAM. Many of them continued to read throughout the year.
Girls' Book Club
These girls read not one but TWO books in a six weeks. We went and saw the EVERYTHING EVERYTHING movie together. Of course, the book was better.

Virtual Reality
Ms. Gillenwater's World History classes used Google Expeditions with VR Goggles to experience WWI trench warfare.
Breakout EDU
Mr. Matus' Economics classes completed a six weeks test review using Breakout Edu, a series of clues that must be solved in order to "break into" a box.
A Different Way to Research
Mr. Swint's Senior English classes researched topics that they were interested in learning about before graduation. Students compared this new way to research with the traditional model and thought the "new way" was more effective.
