At Martin Elementary, we recognize students who go above and beyond during the school day. Teachers submit names for Champions of the Week and one student per grade level is chosen. They receive a certificate, a pencil, and have their picture taken to be placed on a bulletin board in the building. Below are the names of the Champions of the Week for the week September 12:

Students may wear their regular mode of dress for Mondays - school uniform or Martin Spirit shirt with jeans.

Parents,

If you chose to have your child to be a walker (East or West) they are released to walk home. Please remind them to walk quickly and safely home as they leave the campus. Also, if rain is forecasted, make sure they have a poncho or umbrella in their backpack. Thank you for your patience as we release students safely in rainy conditions.

Per new district expectation, MC^2 Parent night times have been adjusted.

This is the first data meeting for the 2022-23 school year. Teachers will be giving parents important information and ideas to help their child at home. We respectfully ask that students stay home on this night so teachers can have your undivided attention. However, if you are not able to make child care arrangements, we will have the Block teachers watching them.

These guidelines are reviewed every morning with students on the morning announcements and are posted around our building. Please review them with your children and remind them to follow them each time they visit the restroom at Martin.
