Senior Information

Big picture
I miss you all more each and every day. I cannot wait for the day that we can all congregate and I can see your faces again!

There are still so many lingering questions you have about graduation, prom, awards day, cap & gowns, cords, etc. I hope within the next few weeks, we will know more and can give you the answers that you are looking for and deserve to have.

Below are two forms that all seniors must complete before the end of the year. They should take you no longer than a few minutes to complete. Please answer these as honest and accurate as possible.

Don't forget to check out the scholarship section. There are a few new local scholarships available.

All seniors must fill out the form attached.

You must fill this out if you've been offered a scholarship whether you will take it or not. This includes college scholarships, community scholarships, private scholarships, church scholarships, military enlistment, etc.

Yearbook orders should still be available online. Ordering will be open through May 4th. Yearbooks can be purchased at . This should take you directly to the order page for Athens High School so that you won't have to search for our school.

Senior yearbook ad sales will be available online at through the end of April. Once you select the ad size you would like to purchase, the website will walk you through each of the steps with a choice of ad templates. If you have any other questions, email Lesley Carter at

Scholarship Information

I have had many questions about scholarship applications. Please pay attention as some of the application deadlines have been extended even further. Below are the answers to the most asked questions.

How do I turn in my applications?

If the instructions tell you to turn in your applications to me, you can email them to me at or mail them to the school at 655 US Hwy 31 N. Athens, AL 35611. I had previously told some of you that we may have a drop off location. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a drop off due to Gov. Ivey's instructions. Instructions on how to scan documents on your phone are provided on the link below. Applications if mailed must be postmarked by the due date, not necessarily received.

Some applications give instructions for you to send them directly to the address listed.

What if an application requires a counselor signature and/or a transcript?

If it requires a transcript and/or my signature and you must turn it into me, I will add both of those after I receive them from you. If it requires my signature and you are mailing it elsewhere, my signature will be waived by the scholarship committee meaning it is not required any longer. If you need a copy of your transcript, request it through and have it sent to your email. You can print off as many as needed.
