Carrie Marie Underwood was born March 10, 1983 in Oklahoma and grew up on a farm with two sisters, Shanna and Stephanie. Her parents are Stephen and Carole Underwood. She graduated from Northeastern State University and she auditioned for American Idol her senior year. She ended up winning the 2005 season and her career took off after that. In 2007, she became the second country artist in history to win the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. She also became the first woman to ever receive the CMA award for Entertainer of the Year twice. She is also married to Mike Fisher. And even at the age of 31 and pregnant, she still manages to stay on top by singing amazing songs.
