Cedar Grove Friday Flash
November 3, 2017
Dear Cedar Grove Families,
Congratulations to the students and teachers who received the Bear Way award for the month of October for excellent hallway, lunch, and recess behavior. There were even two 1st grade classes who tied for first place! We are so proud of our students for being great role models and for setting good examples.
Due to the return of the warmer weather this week, we once again kept the students in the building today for indoor recess and dismissal due to an increase in bee activity. We will continue to monitor for any nests (there are none) and make daily decisions based upon our assessment of their presence.
Parents, on November 5, 2017, Daylight Saving Time ends. Please be sure to turn your clocks back one hour.
Last but not least, there are several early release days over the next two weeks. Please see the dates below and mark your calendars that school will end at 1:20 p.m. Thank you.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Cooler Weather is Coming!
As we get into the cooler weather, please make sure your child is wearing jackets and is dressed appropriately. Outdoor recess will continue as long as temperatures are above freezing. In addition, we have a number of jackets and hats in our lost and found. As a reminder, please take a moment to look for any missing items before or after your parent/teacher conference. Thank you.

The product name is Trolls: It's Hug Time Children's Storybooks. For more information, please call 800-489-3402 or visit their website at www.studiofun.com.
