Parent Drop Off
We have received notice of the start date for construction impacting Spry.
Starting Monday, April 1st, the current parent drop off area (off Rte 25) will be closed. The complete south parking lot off Rte 250 will be shut down through the end of the 2019-20 school year. The new (temporary) parent drop-off area for the remainder of the school year through the end of next will be in the District Lot of Sanford Street on the North Side of the building. This is a one-way lot that we will have two lanes of drop-off occurring. The same will be for parent pick-up at the end of the school day. We will have security and adult supervision in the new area for drop-off and pick-up. As you enter and exit this new area, please be patient and aware of those around you. Also, please plan on turning left out of the lot if the traffic begins to back up. We will heave extra help out their this week.
Buses will be running as normal and still be located in the West Parking Lot off Sanford St. THERE IS NO PICK UP or DROP OFF IN THE WEST LOT BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER SCHOOL (during dismissal).
Reminders: Parent Drop off is from 7:15 am - 7:30 am.
Parent Pick up is from 2:30 pm - 3:45 pm
Parent drop off and pick up during the school day will also still occur in the District Lot off Sanford Street.
With any change, there is bound to be issues that we will have to work through, so your patience and understanding is appreciated. I will also be posting updates in our weekly newsletter. Any critical information, I will share out via email and/or through a voicemail.

Lunch Break Volunteers Needed
Lunch Break is back at Spry this Spring, and parent volunteers are always needed.
There are two ways to volunteer during any of the program's four Tuesday dates. You can come to school and volunteer your time, or send in a homemade baked good. Your job as a parent volunteer at Spry during Lunch Break would simply be to help with set up (or clean up), hand out crafts and guide students to available seats at craft tables, and to help the senior citizens if they need any replacement supplies, etc. To send in a homemade baked good you can sign up and then send it in with your child to be dropped off in the main office at the beginning of the school day.
Below our names is a link to a Google Doc. Click on the link to see the dates and times, and to sign up. The information you type in will be saved automatically. Or simply send us an email with the date you want.
Please contact one of the Lunch Break co-chairs with any questions. Thank you!
