Our Learning Journey
And so it begins...the Who Am I research project we have all been anxiously waiting for! This week we will be creating our notes for the childhood and adulthood portions of the project. We will be using the biography as our source. It is important that this biography book is brought home and returned to school everyday. In grammar, we will continue to review and practice identifying and writing the four types of sentences (imperative, declarative, interrogative, and exclamatory). Money will continue to be the focus in math. I suggest practicing this skill of making change for purchases using dollar and cent notation.
Elephant Toothpaste!
We had a blast watching Mr. Manley do a fun experiment using iodine. The kids were amazed by the iodine's ability to dye everything brown!
Sunny Days!
We have really enjoyed learning and playing outside in this beautiful weather!
Experimental Design
We conducted our own experiments in our classrooms using milk, dish soap, and food coloring.
Don't forget to put on your cowboy boots and head to the Country Fair on Saturday! 10-3!
Conferences This Wednesday!
I am looking forward to meeting with you all this week to discuss my amazing group of students!
