Hello Fox Families,
Exciting things are happening in Music Class!
Please join us for our 2023 Music Nights at Grandview High School! Music Night is an opportunity for your students to showcase all that they have learned in music class. Your students will be performing songs, instruments, dances, and even games. All students are encouraged to come to Music Night to show off what they are proud of in music class! There is no sign up required for this event as every student is learning the songs for Music Night in class. We would love to see you there!
1st and 2nd: March 15th, 2023 @ Grandview High School’s Auditorium
3rd and 4th: March 16th, 2023 @ Grandview High School’s Auditorium
Kindergarten and Fifth Grade will be performing at their respective end-of-year events!

-Every student will have a work of art displayed.

Art Contest: Doodle for Google Has started!
Students are given the opportunity to create a work of art in line with the theme of “What I am thankful/grateful for.” Students create the work of art on a template provided by Mrs. Z or you are welcome to visit https://doodles.google.com/d4g/
The contest runs until March 7, 2023.

There is so much great learning happening in our STEM lab! Check out the STEM website to see what each grade level has been up to.

Just in time for the Super Bowl, 1st – 5th graders are wrapping up our Football unit! If a quarterback or receiver goes down in the Big Game, your student is ready to step in! 😊 Students worked hard on throwing/passing and catching/receiving. We played a variety of games to work on perfecting these skills.
Our next unit will be volleyball! The focus will be passing, but older students will work on all skills volleyball!
Our Kindergartners are wrapping up all of our “tag” type games, focusing on spatial awareness and body control. As one parent mentioned, “How many variations of tag do you have?” We have a lot! 😊 Kindergartners will now be working on different types of movement as well as proper throwing form and even catching!
Believe it or not, we are nearing the end of Intramurals for our 4th and 5th grade students. If your child is in Intramurals, please pay attention to the dates! If you need another copy of the dates, please let me know.
With the end of Intramurals nearing, that means SPRING RUNNER’S CLUB! -Provided we can ever get the snow to melt and the field to dry out, we will run again! I’ll send out more information on that in March!
