Message from the Superintendent
Dear Panther Families,
As we begin the last three weeks of school, we have so much to celebrate. Many end of year celebrations -- awards events, National Honors Society Inductions, and Field Days.
The spring play put on by our Middle School titled "The Day the Internet Broke" premiered virtually on YouTube at 7:00pm this past Friday. It was good comedy about our over reliance on social media and the internet. Great job by our students and teachers!
In addition, both our High School Baseball and Softball teams were crowned Mid Penn Capital Division Champions this past week. Congratulations to all of our student athletes for their successful seasons!
We were excited to host the following vaccination clinics:
- May 7th - 16 years and up, 1st vaccination dose
- May 28th - 16 years and up, 2nd vaccination dose
- May 20th - 12 years and up, 1st vaccination dose
- June 10th - 12 years and up, 2nd vaccination dose
We highly appreciate and thank our families for taking advantage of these vaccination clinics in an effort to support health and safety, for a safe and healthy return to school, full-time, in the fall.
We look forward to our Graduation program on June 4th and 5:00pm in our home stadium. We are excited to be able to offer 10 tickets per graduate to this event, and anticipate celebrating with our graduates.
And a special note of recognition of our high school students, faculty, and staff for their achievement earning a No Place for Hate designation! This great work with school-wide projects bolster our character education initiatives. We are so proud of your work creating a culture of caring and respect in our school community!
Warmest Wishes,
Donna
