Concession Tickets
Concession Tickets are also going to be available on Friday during the day. You can purchase them through the affiliation system. The concession tickets work for either Thursday or Friday and are $12.00. The tickets include in the following meal choices:

1. Pulled Pork Sliders – 2 pulled pork sliders served with a side of potato chips, an apple, a cookie, and a drink
2. Chicken Tenders – 5 chicken tenders served with a dipping sauce, a side of potato chips, an apple, a cookie, and a drink
3. Grilled Chicken Tenders (GF) - 5 marinated and grilled chicken tenders served with a dipping sauce, a side of potato chips, an apple, a cookie, and a drink.
4. Chef Salad – Shredded lettuce topped with shredded cheddar, grape tomatoes, ham, turkey, and hard boiled eggs served with your choice of dressing, potato chips, an apple, a cookie, and a drink
5. Pulled Pork Nachos – Corn tortilla chips topped with nacho cheese, shredded cheddar, BBQ pulled pork, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapenos, sour cream, and a side of salsa served with an apple, a cookie, and a drink
6. Cranberry Pecan Salad (GF, veg) - spring mix topped with dried cranberries, toasted pecans, feta cheese, sliced cucumber, and grape tomatoes served with your choice of dressing, potato chips, an apple, a cookie, and a drink
FCCLA Reminders
Multiple Release Forms: Multiple release forms are required for all students. Please bring them and show them at registration.
FCCLA Dress Code: The FCCLA Dress Code is required. Students can wear a red, black, or white polo shirt or collared shirt with black pants, skirt, or black sheath. The FCCLA red blazer is also welcome.
Prize Wheel: Advisers please bring items to add to our prize wheel for students attendance. Small prizes, give-aways, treats, are always bit hits.
FCCLA Store: The FCCLA store will have lots of options for students.

State of Indiana Releases Draft of Strategic Workforce Plan
(INDIANAPOLIS) The State of Indiana has released a draft of its Strategic Workforce Plan that will serve as the state’s Combined Plan under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for the next 4 years. The Governor’s Workforce Cabinet coordinated the development of the Strategic Workforce Plan with involvement from the following state agencies: the Family and Social Services Administration, Department of Workforce Development, Commission for Higher Education, Department of Corrections, Department of Education, Office of Community and Rural Affairs, and Department of Child Services. Numerous non-profit and private partners, along with members of the general public, also assisted with the Plan’s development.
Public comment is sought over the next month beginning February 6 and ending March 8. The Plan can be accessed through the link at the conclusion of this announcement. Comments may be submitted by email to GWCpubliccomment@gov.IN.gov. A webinar is also planned for February 24th that will serve as another forum for individuals to submit comments. Additional details will be provided on the webinar closer to the event.
Indiana’s State Combined Plan includes the six WIOA Core programs: Adult, Dislocated Worker, Youth, Wagner-Peyser, Adult Education, and Vocational Rehabilitation, as well the following partner programs:
- Career and Technical Education Programs-Perkins Act
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program
- Trade Adjustment Assistance for Workers Programs
- Jobs for Veterans State Grant Program
- Senior Community Service Employment Program
- Unemployment Insurance Programs
- Employment and Training programs under the Supplemental Nutrition and Assistance Program

Fashion Insitute of Design and Merchandising Scholarships
The FIDM is providing a $1,000 scholarship to any FCCLA member meeting FIDM's admission criteria.
Provide an additional $1500 scholarship, renewable for up to four years, to FIDM students who were state officers or national officers at the time of their acceptance into FIDM. Contingent upon maintenance of a 3.0 GPA and consecutive attendance at the university.

Power of One: New Reporting System
Nationals has a new system to submit students for Power of One.
To recognize a student for Power of One at state and national, the following must be done.
1. Sign in to the affiliation system (where you do membership)
2. Click the Program Awards Tab
3. Click Power of One
4. Select the students that have completed.
5. Upload this form, save all your forms into one google drive or dropbox folder to make loading easier. Form link is below!

One Indiana School will win $500 - enter the National FACTS program to be eligible
Earn Cash For Your FACTS Project as Your State's Winning Project FCCLA is partnering with Ford Driving Skills for Life and Governors Highway Safety Association to award the top FACTS project in each state a $500 cash award. Simply conduct a FACTS project during the school year and submit a program award application by March 1, 2020. You will automatically be entered to win! All state-level winners receive $500 and are considered for a national award! When you summarize your project, including major activities, resources used, partnerships and collaborations--be sure to indicate that you utilized Ford Driving Skills for Life's The Academy program to assist with your FACTS project and describe any impact the resources had on your project! This total section on the evaluation is worth 20 points!
Promote Access to the Internet and win money
Access from AT&T National FCCLA is proud to partner with Access from AT&T again this year to bring affordable internet access to families across the country who receive SNAP benefits. Chapters from these 21 states are encouraged to participate in this FCCLA Community Service project. The first 48 chapters to participate and submit a brief report by April 15, 2020 will receive $250. By engaging in the FCCLA and AT&T Access program partnership efforts, your chapter is assisting in improving the quality of life for members of your community. Click here to learn more.
