Three Weeks + Finals Week!

We are in the homestretch now! This week, we have Site Council Thursday. I will be sending out an email to everyone summarizing the staff meeting last week and what was missed. It actually reminded me that the staff meeting format is a little outdated. We'll work on new ways to share information in the future.

Have a great week!

Softball Headed for Playoffs

Girls Varsity Softball finishes the regular season schedule this week with home games versus Piner and Healdsburg. The SCL league winner is still up for grabs depending on the results this week. Beyond that, the NCS beckons!

Tennis League Champs Head to NCS

Our boys team will take on #1 seed James Logan in the NCS tournament this week. This is a big step up and a real honor for the team. In the NCS doubles tournament, Alex Dodd and Hayden Dennis made it to the quarterfinals before falling. So far, a great year of tennis for the league champs!

Strong Showing at FFA State Finals for the Trojans!

The Petaluma FFA just returned from a very successful trip to state FFA finals at Cal Poly. They took five teams- best informed greenhand, welding, Ag mechanics, farm business management and dairy judging.

The dairy team, Derrick Pomi, Megan Binford, Morgan Hartman and Melanie Hanlon. placed first overall and will travel to Indiana this fall to compete at nationals! The farm business team was second overall. The team was Kelsey Martin, Ben and Matt Forney and Dena Tunzi. Kelsey was first high individual overall. And in Ag Mechanics, Clayton Arntz was the top in the state in the electrical wiring portion of the contest.

Well done, Petaluma FFA! We are proud of all of you!

League Title on the Line This Week in Baseball

The Trojans, who celebrated Senior Night last week, take on Elsie Allen at home on Monday before hitting the road for two critical games at Analy and Piner on Wednesday and Thursday. We'll know after that how the league standings finish and then wait to hear about NCS prospects. Go Trojans!

Boys Lacrosse to Host NCS Playoff

The Trojans Varsity Boys Lacrosse team is finishing on the upswing. The boys travelled to Rancho Cotate High School and upset the Cougars in the NBL playoffs. Though the squad later dropped a contest to the Gauchos, the NCS committee still rewarded to Trojans with an 8th seed and a home match up versus St. Mary's (Albany) High School this Wednesday night at Ellison Field. Let's fill the stands and root on the Trojans!

The girls season is over but our senior girls are proud of their accomplishments!
