Learning Targets

Reading and Social Studies:

Don't forget - A.R. test is due April 6th. No exceptions. This book must be on the student's reading level and must be fiction. Next test due: April 27th, choice of fiction or nonfiction.

We are working on comparing passages of informational text this week. Our state testing is Tuesday and Wednesday of this week for English Language Arts.

Our spelling list will come home on Wednesday and the test will be April 15th. All students will be working on homophones and commonly misspelled words.

A.R. Requirement: One fiction book must be read, with a quiz completed by - April 6th

Writing - Students are working on quoting passages accurately when providing text evidence. We will be starting our unit on memoirs soon.

Math - Students are wrapping up geometry and reviewing material from previous quarters. Math Testing begins next week.

MOBYMAX: All students need to be doing 15 minutes of MobyMax nightly. This is part of their homework score and many students are forgetting this requirement. MobyMax login and password information can be found in your child's B.E.E. Binder for their required 15 minutes nightly (or 60 minutes/week). If this is an issue at all, due to network resources, please let us know and we can work something out at school. Please send in a note if this is the case.

Science - Students are going to be reviewing concepts related to sound energy. Over this week and next, students will be learning about light energy.
