Principal's Message
We have had a great month thus far as we creep closer to Spring Break. Students have been in full swing engaged in all of the activities we have to offer.
Students were able to:
- Listen to some great music from the high school in our gymnasium
- 6th graders had fun at our WEB activity night
- Boys' basketball has been dominating in the paint
- We had a successful candy-gram fundraiser
- A handful of students were able to participate in NAEP testing
- Some students are sticking around after school and lifting weights with Mr. Rowe
- Students in social studies class presented their National History Day projects to peers and teachers
- Mid-winter assessments in reading and math were taken by all students
- FR students participated in solo ensemble and many received top marks from the judges, students in forensics got to experience a few competitions
- Demigods dominated in the Battle of the Books and were able to participate at the state level,
- FR staff have been rocking and rolling all the way through!
As you may know, WGSD has chosen a new District Administrator for the 2022-23 school year. Fox River wants to extend a thank you to Mr. Brzinski for his years of service--he will be missed.
