In reading, we will finish Benchmark Unit 9. Your child will take the Unit test on Monday, 4/11, covering making connections and distinguishing between fact and opinion while reading book and movie reviews.

For the rest of the week we will work on Reader's Theater.

Your child will also have time to begin a take-home science test in class on Monday, and it will be due Monday, 4/18.

Math

On Monday during our normal math time, we will be taking an ISTEP Part 2 practice test. On Tuesday during our math time, we will be going to the high school to practice for the music program and will be visited by Ben Franklin's Team Peace.

For the rest of the week, we will work from unit 5 of Bridges, concentrating on collecting data and creating and interpreting graphs.

In writing, we will work on creating emotion.

In language arts, we will complete Unit 6 and take a test over the material on Friday (4/15).

Social Studies

In social studies, students completed a study guide in class to review for a social studies test Monday 4/11. We will then begin creating Google Presentations as a review of what we've studied about the U.S. government.

Some time this week during our social studies time, Mrs. Aguayo, our amazing social worker, will be in our classroom while we view and discuss personal safety.
