Place Value Up to the Billions!! Lesson 1-1 & 1-2
Students need to understand the value of each place-value position as 10 times the position to the right and as one-tenth of the value of the place to its left.(4.2B)(4.2A)
Ex: 235,441 (The 4 in the hundreds place value is 10 times the value of the 4 in the tens place value. OR The 4 in the tens place value is one-tenth the value of the 4 in the hundreds place value.)

Decimals on a number line Lesson 1-9
Students determine the corresponding decimals and fractions to the tenths and hundredths place of a specified point on a number line and as distances from zero on a number line. (4.2H)
Comparing & Ordering Decimals Lesson 1-10
