Participate in the York County Library Children's Summer Reading program and win ice cream and other prizes when you return to school in August!

It's easy to participate!

Here's How:

  • Visit your local public library or register online
  • Log the hours you read on the public library's website or on the reading record
  • Complete 10 hours of reading, and you'll earn a certificate and prizes!
  • When you return to school, show Mrs. Boheler your certificate and win more prizes!

Program Details:

The Children's Summer Reading Program is for ages 3-11.

Starting May 16, you can register online here, or at any branch and pick up your Reading Record. Clover Public Library's address is 107 Knox Street, Clover, SC.

Beginning June 6, you can log into your account and track the time you spend reading or listening to audiobooks.

Enter your minutes read online or turn in your completed Reading Record to the public library and the public librarian will reward you with cool prizes!

Your Reading Goal: 10 hours of reading or listening

Program Dates: June 6 - July 29

Everything you need to know about the Summer Reading program!

Prizes (10-hour reading requirement completion)

The public library will award the following prizes:

  • A summer reading medal & certificate
  • A sports clip keychain or sports bouncing ball
  • An entry in the Grand Prize Drawing: one randomly-selected winner from each library receives a choice of either a $50 Toys-R-Us or Books-a-Million gift card, plus a sports ball wallet, mini basketball game, sports bag, sports water bottle, and more prizes from their sponsors!

Receive an extra entry each time the 10-hour reading requirement is completed. Enter again and again for additional prizes!

When you return to Clover Middle School in August:

  • Show Mrs. Boheler your certificate (original or a copy) that you received from the public library (proof that you completed 10 hours of reading this summer).
  • You will be rewarded with ice cream and other prizes!
