-Car Riders- please help our morning carpool line move quicker by:
- Please remain in your car. Do not park and walk you children from the parking lot to the sidewalk. We need all car riders to remain in the carpool line.
- Please have the children wear their masks while interacting with school staff during temperature checks.
- Please help your children unbuckle their car seats and seatbelts and gather their belongings while you are sitting in the line waiting to be screened.
Bus Transportation Reminders:
- Students must always wear a mask while riding the bus.
- Parents must complete DAILY Health Screener for days attending school: http://bit.ly/healthses
- Bus attestation forms must be filled out weekly and given to the bus driver at the beginning of your A or B rotation.
- Expect bus delays in the morning and in the afternoon when high school returns to in-person instruction on 2/22/21.

We’re only 2 weeks away from our Smithfield Dance Fit! I know our school is getting excited for it to kick off!
Today, donating officially opened on funrun.com, so you can support our school in 3 steps:
1. REGISTER your student(s) on funrun.com today. It takes 30 seconds!
2. SHARE with 5 family/friends using the SHARE tools on funrun.com (Facebook, Text Message or Email). Students can earn rewards just for sharing from funrun.com.
3. GIVE a donation if you are able to give.

VIRTUAL CALMING LIBRARY
CMS students, staff and families can access the Virtual Calming Library to find beneficial tools and strategies for managing emotions, building resilience and improving overall well-being. The library was created by four CMS occupational therapists: Carol George, Allie Thomas, Julia Harker and Ashley Shapiro. The library link is bit.ly/CMS-VCL.

Food Drive Support
The Food Drive supporting South Meck, Quail Hollow and Smithfield did the final distribution on 1/25. We are continuing to collect monetary donations so that gift cards can be given to the highest need families for grocery purchases. Please see the details below on how you can contribute. You have helped give over 3600 weeks of food over the last 10 months, we hope that we can continue to support these same families.
