24 Hours of Yes Challenge
The New Age Creators is an international collaboration Youtube channel making creative little videos every week. It is connected to SoulPancake, the creators behind Kid President.
Recently, one of the hosts of the show, Marie, decided to challenge herself to 24 hours of "saying YES!" Marie said, " I have been getting in the habit of saying NO. To everything. But it's time to change that, because when I say YES, I always wind up learning more, meeting amazing people, and doing things I never thought I could."
If you've found yourself coming down with a case of the "No's," We challenge you to 24 Hours of YES! Only say YES for a full day, and see where it takes you!

Want some instant feedback from your students about a lesson or a project? Need to give a quick quiz? Want to know what your students are working on during GWP? Use forms! You’ve filled them out after PD days, come learn how to make them and use them effectively in your classroom. Students can even make forms for their classmates to answer!
Forms are quick to make and easy to access – find it in your app bar on portal.office.com, select Create New and try it out. After you add a few questions, click on Send Form and get the link or even email it out. You can even make it a QR code right from the site. Try it out!

The Origins of the Pineapple Chart
The pineapple has long been a symbol of hospitality‘; it’s used in the chart in the spirit of welcoming one another into our school “homes.”
What is a Pineapple Chart?
A Pineapple Chart is a system that allows teachers to invite one another into their classrooms for informal observation. The chart is set up in some location where teachers go on a daily basis: the teacher’s lounge, the copy room, or wherever teacher mailboxes live in your school. On the chart, teachers “advertise” the interesting things they are doing in their classrooms, activities they think others might want to observe. The activities could be as complex as a science lab, a history simulation, or a Skype session with a school in another country. Or they could be as simple as a read-aloud or a lesson on badminton.
When a teacher sees something on the chart he/she is interested in, he/she goes to that classroom at the designated time, sits down in an out-of-the-way spot, and watches. That’s it. No note-taking is required, no post-observation conference, no write-up. Just a visit. He/She can even grade papers or catch up on email if she wants, paying closer attention when the moment calls for it, but getting work done in the meantime. He/She can stay for five minutes or a whole class period. The key word here is informal, and it’s the best way for teachers to learn lots of skills and techniques just when they need them.
