Daily Agendas
Whenever students walk into Mrs. Lopez's class there is no question the tasks that will be accomplished for the day. Posted on the board are the daily agenda items, along with a message telling them what supplies are needed.
Many teachers in our school utilize this management tool in their classrooms.
If you notice that you keep answering the questions below, consider adding some type of visible agenda to your daily routine.

As we know, all students need to think about their writing, write more often, and write with more depth and complexity. Every department is writing and I have decided to highlight 1 department a week...
Great job Science!
This week we are highlighting Science and CER (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning). Students must utilize a process that allows them to state a Caim, find Evidence for that claim, and justify their Reasoning for that claim. This tool allows students to think deeply about their own thinking and also helps teachers to pinpoint student misconceptions.
