A BIG THANK YOU for thinking of me at Christmas time. It was so great to feel loved and appreciated.

GENERAL REMINDERS

CLASSROOM REMINDERS

  • Parents please be reminded that all undershirts under uniform shirt must be white.
  • ALL homework books and assignments should be signed and dated by parents.
  • Students should have at 3 - 5 sharpened pencils for school each day (this is a daily homework and should be a part of the packing routine). Sharpening pencils during class time is not allowed as sharpeners are not allowed.
  • Each student should have a glue stick (we do a lot of cutting and pasting and the glue stick is easier to work with), crayons or colored pencils, scissors, and a big eraser. (The pencil erasers do NOT last long).
  • There is no morning playtime children should proceed from the car directly to the classroom to begin bell-work.
  • Parents please be reminded that lunch for warming should be precooked or a microwaveable spaghetti/soup in a plastic container. Noodles and Kraft dinners are discouraged by the school and cannot be accommodated.
  • SWEATERS - Please be reminded that school sweaters are GREEN. Sweaters are on sale at the school's bookstore.

REPLENISH SUPPLIES - SCISSORS ARE NOT SHOWING UP IN CLASS; PENCILS ARE NOT SHARPENED OR NON-EXISTENT; GLUE STICKS ARE BEING USED UP.

G.L.A.T. CLASSES - PLEASE NOTE THE DAY CHANGES

G.L.A.T. Classes were originally supposed to be Tuesdays and Thursdays but Ms. Strachan is unable to do Tuesdays and we would like both grades to meet on the same afternoons. Therefore class days have been changed to Monday and Wednesday afternoon.

Classes will be held from 3:15 to 4:15. Please plan accordingly so class will not be interrupted because you have to get your child at 4:00.

On the days of classes, please provide your child with a FRESH FRUIT SNACK that has already been peeled and cut up. Students will NOT be allowed to purchase chips or other sugary snacks on these days.

Please note that your child will not be allowed to take part without the review book as students will be making notes as we go through. Payments must be made at the office BEFORE class on Wednesday afternoon.
