The following students have been nominated by Beckman High School:

New Science Pathways

Due to the upcoming shift in Science content standards (Next Generation Science Standards), Beckman and other TUSD high schools have revised their Science course sequencing to better prepare students for NGSS expectations. The image at the left shows the new NGSS sequencing (click image for more). The major shift is the elimination of Honors level courses. We understand the concern about students moving directly into an AP level course without prior experience and have worked with our Science teachers to ensure that students grades do not suffer. We have done this in other subject areas and have seen that students still see the same level of success.
