Hello to our Northpoint Community,
I hope everyone enjoyed the extended weekend and the beautiful weather. My family and I traveled to southern Wisconsin to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday. It was the first time we’ve gathered safely since COVID came on the scene, and our visit prompted me to reflect on how blessed I am to spend time with family!
We have nine weeks of school left before summer break. We can look at it as only nine weeks, or we can choose to use this time as an intentional opportunity to support our students in meeting the hopes and dreams they identified in September. At Northpoint, we are going to choose the latter!
As a reminder, please continue to do a health screening before sending students to school each day. If your child has any symptoms, they need to stay home. We are all tracking news and data regarding COVID variants and their spread. We ask that everyone be diligent in their screening efforts and reach out to Nurse Tammy with questions to help keep learning going at school with as few interruptions as possible.
Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Updates for Extended Flex Learning families
Greetings,
The weather has been amazing, and student learning is on a roll. We are grateful to have nine weeks of learning before summer. Great things can and will happen in nine weeks. Thank you in advance for helping your child stay committed to both their synchronous (live) and asynchronous (independent) learning experiences during this time.
If you have any questions or concerns as we move through this final trimester, please feel free to reach out to me, kfehri@district16.org.
Take care,
Kimberly Fehringer

Arrival/Dismissal Reminders
We continue to focus on the efficiency of our arrival and dismissal processes. A few reminders to help with routines:
- Please utilize a safe driving speed at all times while entering and exiting the carline.
- Drivers and other passengers must stay in their cars. Do not get out at the time of drop off or pick up.
- Students should be prepared to exit the car right away upon arrival.
- Drivers need to pull forward as far as possible at arrival and dismissal time. Please note when school staff is waving drivers forward and follow their guidance.
- Please do not pass other cars in the lines to get to the front of the line.
- Please have your sign in the windshield at dismissal. This is extremely helpful to the staff and our process.
- Please do not stop in the crosswalk.
