Buying Stock
When a company is well run and making money, it's stock goes up and is attractive to investors. If investors expect the company to continue doing well, they will buy more stock in the company. If, on the other hand, a company is poorly run and losing money, it's stock falls and becomes less attractive to investors. If investors expect the company to continue declining, they will not buy more stock and sell off what they do have.
