Message From Onondaga Road School Principal
Hello, Onondaga Road Families -
On behalf of our Onondaga Road School family, please accept my thanks to all of the families who helped make Educator Appreciation Week fun for our educators. We have a staff here who are dedicated to taking care of our children's learning and well-being, and the fact that you showed your appreciation for what we do was very thoughtful of you! Our staff enjoyed a catered luncheon, amazing desserts, extra help supervising recess, snacks, prizes, and many heartfelt notes and cards. Thank you for thanking us!
This week we will host our Spring Open House on Thursday, May 18, 6:00-7:00 p.m. I recently learned that some schools in other locations refer to "open house" as "open door!" I find this fitting since this is a time when we welcome you in our open school doors to see all of the learning that has taken place throughout the year! Our "Open Door" is at 6:00, so please come. Our children are proud! Additionally, our PTA is hosting Charlie's Ice Cream Truck outside by the playground. If you would like, ice cream is for purchase after you finish your school tour. Please come inside first to be sure you have time to tour the school, 6:00-7:00, and all ice cream must stay outside!
Take a few minutes to get to know one another while you visit on Thursday! By this, I mean you will see that the glass hallway by the cafeteria is adorned with photos, notes, and flags from our families showing the ways that the nations of the world are represented right here at Onondaga Road! "We are the World," and I think you will find the display fascinating.
Sincerely,
Jeannette Clark

Our next PTA meeting will be on May 23, 2023, at 6:00 in the Onondaga Road School Library. Feel free to join us!
