Getting ready for the Busiest Time of the Year
One area of concern is bathroom use and abuse. Over the past month, the bathroom and locker rooms have been vandalized - mostly writing on walls and partitions, but also some destruction of property and flushing door stops down the toilet. Due to these behaviors we are asking students to use the bathrooms primarily between classes when we can monitor them more closely. We have had to close two bathrooms because of the repair that is needed.
Additionally, we will be using our PRIDE behavior system to recognize those behaviors we are looking for at CMS: being Prepared, Respectful, having Integrity, being minDfull, and Engaged. We have many exciting events coming up between now and winter break and we want everyone to have a positive experience while staying focused on their goals!
