Varsity Pom Pon - They did it again!
Congratulations to Hemlock High School’s Pom Pon Team who placed 1st for the third year in a row at the Mid-Michigan State Championship held at Eastern Michigan University on Sunday, February 9!
Athletic Director Yell stated, “Their effort, dedication, and commitment has allowed them to be the best. They are commended for their achievements. Hemlock is very proud of them."

2/6/20 - JV Boys BBall vs. St. Louis - W (55-29) Shane Renas had 13 pts, Robert Knapik had 10 pts and Blake Stockford had 9 pts.
2/7/20 - V Girls BBall @ St. Louis - W (56-30) Sydney Peake led us with 17 points to go along with 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. Chloe Watson added 11 points, 5 steals, and 2 rebounds. Alex Grzenia scored 7 points with 4 rebounds, and Breanna Turner had 6 points and 4 rebounds.

2/11/20 - JV Boys BBall @ MLS - W (61-39) Jake Shelagowski had 14 pts and 6 rebounds, Shane Renas had 13 pts and 5 rebounds and Espin Miller has 12 pts and 4 rebounds.
2/11/20 - JV Girls BBall vs. MLS - L (31-38) The girls put up a great fight to the finish. Maria Hagerty finished the gamel with 11 points and Ella Wardlow put up 7 for the Huskies. Great work girls.

2. What are some of your other hobbies? Watching movies, listening to music and making short films.
3. What is your favorite movie? Dirty Dancing
4. If you could pick any place in the world to live, where would you choose? Italy
5. Favorite college/pro team? Michigan State Pom pon
6. Favorite teacher/staff member & why? Mrs Willour, she's not only a teacher but a friend.
7. Favorite Video Game? Minecraft
8. Favorite family recipe? My Mom's lemon cookies
9. Do you have any advice for future Hemlock High School student athletes? Have fun in whatever you do. It will be gone in the blink of an eye.
10. What are your plans after high school? Going to college at MSU and being on the Mid-American Pom Staff.
11. Do you think that academic success has helped in your athletics? Absolutely!
12. Is there a coach that really made an impact on your life? Why? Mariah Curtiss has made a huge impact on my life. She's great at keeping us motivated and is the reason why pom has a special place in my heart.
13. What will you miss the most about Hemlock High School? Getting to see my friends every day and all of the clubs/organizations I'm a part of.
14. What is your dream job? Film maker

12. Do you think playing sports at Hemlock made a difference in your life? Why? Playing sports brings so much joy in my life.
13. Is there a coach that really made an impact on your life? Why? Coach Neumeyer because we're both very competitive and he has taught me a lot.
