Dublin Jerome High School
September 6, 2019
Happy Friday!
Although we only had a four day week, it was jam-packed with a variety of activities. One of the activities the Assistant Principals and I participated in was visiting all the Freshman Advisories to reintroduce ourselves and offer assistance so that they can find success.
Many of the topics we discussed align with the "DCS Profile of a Graduate" skills and habits. We want our students to be problem-solvers that can communicate and manage their time.
We also reiterated that as a community we must practice kindness each and every day so that ALL students feel safe, supported and connected. We feel strongly that these habits and skills will translate into all of our students' postsecondary success.
We do our best to recognize staff and students that exhibit these traits each day. We do so by nominating them for demonstrating the "Celtic Way". I will share those students that have been recognized and why. This is a great way for us to reinforce these positive behaviors.
Thank you so much for your help and support to help make Dublin Jerome a transformative educational experience for our students.
Have a wonderful weekend and Go Celts!
