Happy Holidays! We had a fun filled week of festive activities mixed in with academics. From holiday baking and candy cane competitions to awesome decorations, holiday sweaters & headgear, the spirit was definitely in the air! There is no better place to be than a school during the week leading up to a holiday. We hope you enjoy the time with family and friends over the break. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, January 6th and hearing all about the great experiences and adventures!
Looking ahead for when we return: Friday, January 10th, is a Noon dismissal....Wednesday, January 15th, is a normal attendance day with dismissal at 3:30pm...Wednesday, January 15th, is also Future Freshman Night at Lake Park from 6:00-8:30pm for 8th graders....Friday, January 17th, is the last day of the 2nd quarter for 6th & 7th grade Exploratory courses.

Westfield's Talent Showcase 'Cafe'
All interested talent must be show-ready at the auditions, January 14, 2020. If selected, you will be added to the Talent Showcase program on February 11, 2020. (There will be a mandatory rehearsal before the show TBD.)
So, get your 'act' together and practice, practice, practice! All acts will be limited to three (3) minutes. If you are interested in sharing your talents, please sign up outside the Drama Room and pick up a permission slip in order to audition. Questions? Ask Mrs. Bringer cbringer@sd13.org

Show Off Your Spelling Skills
Join the District 13 Spelling Club! Practice is held at DuJardin Room 116 on Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm with competition on February 11, 2020.
Order Your Student's Yearbook Here
To get delivery in time fo the end of the school year, order now--your student will be able to get their yearbook signed by teachers and friends in May 2020!
The Activity 'Late' Bus Takes Students Home Monday through Friday
The Westfield 'Late' Bus will take Westfield students home after 4:50pm for clubs, sports and activities. It will leave about 5:00pm from the front parking lot.
Forgot Something at School?
If you find that you left an item at school after dismissal, the Main office is open until 4:00pm and the custodians will check the Front Door once again at 4:50pm if you need to enter the building briefly to retrieve an item.
