Here is everything you need to know about the Franklin Central Band program right now.

IMPORTANT: All Marching Band and prior year fees should be paid in full at this time. If you have not paid off your account, please do so immediately. If you unable to make a payment today, please contact Becky Richardson, treasurer@fcbands.org for a payment arrangement. All past due balances must be paid prior to starting a new season - including Winter Guard and Percussion Symphony for the 2021 season.

Band concerts will occur on the following dates:

Monday, November 9th - Wind Ensemble (period 5)

Tuesday, November 10th - Wind Symphony (period 4)

Wednesday, November 11th - Symphonic Band (period 3)

Thursday, November 12th - Concert Band (period 2)

Schedule:

Rehearsal from 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Performance at 7:45pm

Tickets:

Each student will receive 2 tickets during their band classes this week.

Dress:

Students need to wear nice clothes, but they DO NOT need to wear the concert clothes described in the band handbook for this concert.

Food:

Students need to eat an early dinner before rehearsal. They will be provided a snack during the evening.

Percussion Symphony auditions will be held on November 3rd, 5th, 17th, & 19th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Students should report to the band room for further instructions.

FC Percussion Symphony will have a parent meeting by Zoom on Tuesday, November 10th at 5:30pm. The Zoom link will be shared closer to the date.

Red Cactus is sponsoring November's Community Spirit Day. Present the flyer (via phone or print) on November 10th and Franklin Central Bands will receive a portion of ALL food sales! You can also call ahead and pick up your order, so you can enjoy it out or in the comfort of your own home!

Another new partner to the band program coming in December will be Johnson City BBQ. They will be offering holiday meals and give 10% back to the program. You will be able to choose from any of their 6 main sides and for the main meat selections they will include spiral sliced ham, smoked turkey breast, or a whole turkey.
