The Mulgara is a native Australian animal.

It's scientific name is Dasycercus Cricticauda.

The mulgaras legs look like kangaroo legs. It has light yellow fur.

It's habitat is the deserts of central Austalia and western Australia amongst spinfex grass and in a burrow.

It eats insects, lizards, mice, scorpions, spiders, centipedes as well as seeds and roots.

It's predators are introduced animals and it is threatened by drought.

The Mulgara is a nocturnal animal.
