Fun Summer Camps available at Edmonds Center for the Arts!

Every summer, ECA offers Summer Arts Enrichment Camps for young people. Our goal is to make these week-long opportunities affordable for local families, and for the fourth year, we’re proud to offer 100 percent scholarships for students that qualify for Free and Reduced-Price Meal programs. With generous funding from an anonymous donor, we have a number of spots available to eligible students, first-come, first-served. Regularly priced tuition is $250/student per week for full-day camps (9 a.m.-3 p.m.) and $125 for half-day camps (9 a.m.-12 p.m.). Before and after-camp care is available through the Boys & Girls Club of Edmonds.

Merry Wives of Windsor: Improv, Combat & Acting Camp

With Seattle Shakespeare Company

July 9-13, 2018

Dive into a zany Shakespearean comedy full of disguises, tricks, and lovable clowns! Students will read scenes, practice acting techniques, and create comedic stage combat routines. The week culminates in a showcase for family and friends.

Rhythm Generation: Intergenerational Marimba Camp

With Youth Marimba Workshop & Silver Kite Community Arts

July 23-27, 2018

Students will learn melodies, harmonies and rhythms, as well as how to keep time on a variety of marimbas, hand percussion and drums. The special connection between the Pacific Northwest and Zimbabwean marimba music will also be explored. The program is structured so that teens play together in a special morning session. Teens later take the lead to help teach their senior bandmates when the whole group meets – with the objective to provide leadership and mentor opportunities to both teens and older adults.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Gillian Jones by email at or phone at 425-275-9483.
