Newsletter 22nd November 2022

Levin East School

Kia ora tātou,

As I sit at home in Covid isolation, frustrated that I cannot attend things, I want to thank the team for doing all they are doing in a busy, busy end-of-year. There are so many cool things happening for our tamariki.

I want to congratulate the organisers and winners of the New World Grocery Grab. What amazing videos of the event (check out our Facebook page). The trollies and baskets are overflowing and it was such a neat way to support our communities while raising some funds as well. Again, a massive thank you to everyone who bought tickets and to Matt Rollinson and the New World team who made it possible.

Something new coming up is the Ki o rahi tournament. It is a new, one-off event and we look forward to it going well. Thank you Whaea Lynne for getting this off the ground.

Don't forget to check out the Christmas Market THIS Thursday, 24th November, it is a great night and all funds raised go back to classes!

Have a great week, and I hope to see you next week!

Rikki Sheterline
