The setting in the book gives you a cowboy feeling. Without that feeling the book wont be what it is. My story is about a boy named Josh Ellroy. He is a farm boy in the summer and a hockey star in the winter. He meets a very pretty girl at one of his practices. Stephanie Becker is a farm girl like Josh.
The conflict is when Stephanie's prized cow is murdered. Stephanie then finds out that Josh's prized bull is related to her's. She then finds out that there are more bulls that are related to their bulls and they are getting murdered too.
I liked this book because it was about sports and it was a mystery. I liked how Josh was a very good hockey player but also very responsible.
