The Love Is Real

Romeo and Juliet killed themselves for the love of each other, it’s their families fault for not letting them love each other. However , Juliet is not really old enough to make her own decisions yet , to either be in love or even to date. It’s their fault because her parents won't let her make her own choices for example “Marry, my child, early next Thursday morn, the gallant, young and noble gentlemen, the county paris,at saint peter's church” (Shakespeare 110). Juliet is confused as to listening to her parents or going with her own decision. Instead of marrying someone she actually loves her parents want her to marry someone that she’s really not interested in . This proves that they are responsible for Juliet's death because she killed herself for his love , and he did the same. If they would've just let them be together then neither one them would be dead right now. Juliet knows where he heart is at, and she know who she wants to marry in the text they mention “I will not marry yet;and, when i do,i swear,it shall be romeo” (Shakespeare 110), (Act: III Scene: V). Juliet obviously knows who she wants to marry and she’s trying to make that clear and get that through her parents head that it’s not there decisions.

We all know romeo loves Juliet , and he would sacrifice his life just to be with her. Romeo doesn't care what other people think about there love. He wants to be with Juliet for a very long time. In the story he mentions "With loves light wings did I o'er-perch these walls; for stony limits cannot hold love out, And what love can do that dares love attempt; Therefore thy kinsmen are no let to me" ( Act II, Scene II) . Basically this is saying that love gave him the strength to fly over the tall wall. Another quote that i found was "Then plainly know my heart's dear love is set on the friar daughter of rich Capulet: As mine on hers, so hers is set on mine; And all combined, save what thou must combine By holy marriage: when and where and how we met, we woo'd and made exchange of vow, Ill tell thee as we pass; but this i pray,That thou consent to marry us to-day" (Act II, Scene III). So basically that's just saying his and hers love are the same , and they will happily be married.

This song is By : Janet Jackson , I pick this song to relate to romeo and Juliet. Because Juliet's parents are very controlling and they don't let her make her own decisions. One verse in the song is Control : to get what i want ; control: i'm never gonna stop ; Control: now i'm all grown up" ( Janet Jackson) . This relates to Juliet's parents being controlling because they don't support romeo and Juliet being together, so the song is saying i'm all grown i can make my own decisions when it comes to love and knowing who i want to be with. Another verse also relates to my opinion which is "First time i fell in love, I didn't know what hit me, so young and so naive, I thought it would easy" (Janet Jackson). This also relates because Juliet is very young , and she kinda fell in love as soon as she met romeo , so it hit her and her parents hard and of course he parents really didn't support it so she basically didn't know what she was actually doing . But she slowly found love for him and she really didn't care about her parents opinion they either support it or not.
