EMOTIONAL LITERACY RESOURCE FOR FAMILIES
Look for the Good School is a FREE at home program to assist families in building emotional literacy. It helps kids identify and befriend uncomfortable emotions such as fear, anger, disappointment, being overwhelmed, sadness, etc. There are videos and free downloads to help families set up things such as a venting station, charging station and gratitude station at home. If your child is experiencing uncomfortable feelings due to the pandemic, family changes, peer conflicts, etc., this program might be for you. Click on image below to be directed to the website to sign up. You must provide an email, but there is no cost. Reeds Spring Elementary has participated in Look for Good Project's Gratitude Campaign in the past and it was a huge success. Check it out!
DOES YOUR CHILD NEED SHOES?
The “Shoe Kiosk” for grades K-4 was established a few years ago to assist families that need assistance with replacing shoes that are worn out or too small for students. Thank you to all the local churches, businesses and organizations that support the Shoe Kiosk. If your child is in need of shoes, please contact your child’s counselor.
DOES YOUR CHILD NEED A COAT, HAT, OR GLOVES?
Due to generous donations from the community, coats, hats and gloves are available for Primary students that need assistance with getting ready for the winter season. If your child is in need of a coat, hat, or gloves, please contact your child's counselor.
