A Note from Mrs. Bratcher
Curtis Elementary is a future ready school located in the heart of Weatherford, Texas serving kindergarten through sixth grade students. Curtis partners with families and the community to create a positive, connected learning environment focused on educating the whole child. Highly qualified teachers challenge and inspire students to develop their talents and passions in order to prepare for future success in the global community. Curtis Elementary fosters creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking in all students.
Curtis Elementary has programs and services to meet the needs of all students. These include Life skills classes, Dyslexia, Quest (Gifted and Talented), English as a Second Language (ESL), Reading and math interventions, Innovation class and various after school clubs.
Students in grades 4th -6th are working towards their STEAM projects for the STEAM Carnival at Region XI in October! We are excited for these students that chose to take their projects to the Region XI and share their learning.

Please, remember to have your card with you when you pick up your student. First and Second graders will also be holding a card to give to the teacher when they leave!

October 24 - I "Mustache" You Not to Do Drugs.
October 25 - My Future is TOO Bright for Drugs. (Neon, sun glass day)
October 26- Don't be caught sleeping - Don't do drugs! (PJ/Sweatpants)
October 27 - Use your head, don't use drugs. (Crazy Hair)
October 28 - Be Who you Want to Be, but Be Drug Free! (Dress up day) (NO Clown costumes and NO scary,
bloody, or gory costumes.)
Book Fair - October 24-28
We would love for you to have "Lunch with a Loved" one during the week! Please, complete the permission slip indicating the name of the "Loved one" that is coming to lunch. Make sure that your loved one is also listed on the student's pick-up card.
