March and April were both busy months in physical education! Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students participated in our annual Jump Rope for Heart Event (April 1st-5th). Thank you to all of the families that donated to this great cause.....
The 3rd and 4th graders tried a fun international game called GaGa Ball. This activity is very popular at summer camps. Although it originated in Australia, most people associate it with the country of Israel.
The kindergarten, first, and second graders continued to refine their locomotor skills (skipping, crab walking, etc...) as well as participating in large group games that required teamwork, communication and of course sportsmanship!
Mr. Sortino and I were very excited to return from April vacation and see our newly painted gym floor. It looks amazing!

In addition, each of the special areas will have activities for your enjoyment. If you visit the gym you can try scaling our climbing wall or have fun with the parachute.
In the library, you'll get an opportunity to read to a llama (maybe even get a selfie!!)
If you're an aspiring musician, Mrs. Marak will have fun station activities for the children in the music room.
Bring your appetite....the Father's Club will be having a barbecue!
