A Note From Mr. Christ
Dear Paddock Families,
I hope that everyone is having a nice weekend. This past Friday was the first "High Five Friday" we have ever had at Paddock and it was a huge success. When students came into the building they were greeted by Palatine police officers giving them high-fives and wishing them a good day. The students were clearly excited as they were greeted, with many coming back for additional high-fives before heading to class. A big thank you to the Palatine police for coming out and supporting this event and our District 15 communications department for organizing it. You can see more pictures on the Paddock Facebook page.
Have a great week!

5Essentials Parent Survey
Throughout District 15, parents, students (4th-8th grade during school hours) and teachers are being asked to complete the Illinois 5Essentials Survey to gather data related to five indicators that can be targeted to improve important student outcomes, including attendance and state test score gains. The 5Essentials Survey asks questions about:
- Effective Leaders
- Collaborative Teachers
- Involved Families
- Supportive Environments
- Ambitious Instruction
Parent input is an extremely valuable part of this survey and all responses are completely anonymous. In order for schools to receive the results of the parent feedback, at least 20% of parents must complete the survey. The survey takes about 10-15 minutes. Please consider visiting the the 5Essentials Survey website and selecting the parent survey to begin. Thank you for your valuable feedback.
