Todd's Tidbits
If the opening of school as the new Principal could be framed by a movie title, then I think I would go with "The Fast and the Furious"!! Although it has been a whirlwind, teachers, staff, and students have been tremendous in settling in to the school routines and processes.
While we will communicate with you through this newsletter a couple times a month, please know that you can contact us by phone, email, or just drop by if you have questions, concerns, or need additional information.
I continue to be proud and honored as the Principal of Chattahoochee High School! Have Pride…Give Respect…Show Integrity—The Hooch Way!
Partners in Education,
Dr. Mike Todd
Principal

9th & 10th Grade Meetings
We just held our 9th and 10th grade class meetings (class meetings for 11th and 12th graders will be next Thursday August 29th). Today, we highlighted some important back to school information:
- Dress code (found on our website)
- Approved lunch areas (café, courtyard, media center without food)
- Parking and parking eligibility (attendance and behavior are considerations)
- Vaping policies and dangers
Additionally, student drop off and pick up is only allowed in the front circle and gym lot. Due to students safety, drop off and pick up is never allow in the faculty/band lot or behind school. If you have any questions related to these items, please contact Mrs. Bryant @ bryantd1@fultonschools.org

Students will go to RM G105, where they can make-up missing work/tests from class. This after school program will provide an additional opportunity for students to catch up on missed assignments, make-up missed tests, recover tests, and have extra time on tests (504 accommodations/IEPs ONLY). Café Corner
Breakfast is very important. Please encourage your son or daughter to grab one of our healthy choices. We have a location in the gym lobby that allows for your student to grab and go in order for them to get to their study/help session or early meeting.
