WHAT WE ARE LEARNING NEXT WEEK
READING
I can decide what book is a "good fit" book and distinguish real reading vs fake reading.
WRITING
I can study mentor texts for inspiration and ideas and apply those to my writing.
MATH
I can determine whether a number up to 40 is even or odd using pairings of objects to represent the number. I can use an understanding of place value to determine the number that is 10 more or less than a given number up to 100.
SCIENCE
I can talk about what scientists do and how they use tools to help them investigate in a safe manner.
SOCIAL STUDIES
I can identify characteristics of good citizenship through listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Schoology:
*Learners need to make sure they are completing and submitting all of their work for each course since that is how we are taking attendance. In addition, although online learning is taking place at home, learners should be starting and finishing their work on their own as they would in-person at school.
IMPORTANT DATES
- September 2nd - Spirit Night Take Out
- September 3rd - Virtual Curriculum Night
