From The Desk of Principal Roberts
I would like to pause a send out a heartfelt thank you to our amazing families and students at River Ridge. When I think about all things to celebrate, I become overwhelmed with gratitude. Your kiddos are by far a bucket filler for me every day, and I love them dearly!
On a personal note, I am very grateful for so many families that have supported me this past year with the loss of my husband. Your kind words, small and big gestures, and giving hearts during such a difficult time will never be forgotten. One thank you will never be enough, but please know that I will always be grateful for the River Ridge community.

Innovation Lab
We have some amazing news! The Innovation Lab is up and running and the kiddos are over the moon! They have been exploring gravity and shadow puppets, making flying ghosts, and building Haunted Houses. They have built beanstalks like Jack and bridges to help Sleeping Beauty, and so much more! We have SO MANY PLANS - but we need your help! Our supplies are dwindling and we would love your help to replenish them.
Here is the Innovation Lab Wish List link. Thank you!

Here are some helpful strategies:
Make it a priority for your kids to play with friends outside of school, especially face-to-face
Keep them active
Practice mindfulness as a family
Eat a brain-healthy diet
Make sure they are getting at least 8-9 hours of sleep during the week
Set a consistent home routine
Help your kids think of things they are grateful for
