The Cat's Connection
September 2017
Welcome to Another Exciting School Year!
Glad you are here!
Change: Early Release on Mondays Now 2:35
As with all new things, we will need to work out some kinks in the system. We ask for your patience, as we will be working through bus arrival and departure times the best we can. We will have additional staff to support students during this time and will work with our buses to streamline this process.

Our New Makerspace
We are in the process of creating and expanding our “makerspace” in the library. What is a makerspace? In simple terms, it is an area that allows for creativity and innovation to occur so that students can engage in learning experiences that allow them to make real life connections. Within this makerspace, our students will have the freedom to design, engineer, fabricate, create, build, and collaborate. We are excited to expand this opportunity for our students, but in order to have a space that is useful, there are several items that we need for the space.
If you are able, we would be so appreciative of any donation that you are willing to provide. Monetary donations will also be appreciated.
Them items that we are in need of are:
~Rubberbands
~Styrofoam cups, plastic solo style cups, plastic utensils
~Wooden Popsicle sticks
~Tape (duct, electrical, masking, painters, scotch)
~Wires, pipe cleaners
~Motorized toothbrushes-usually sold at Dollar Tree
~Paper Towels, sponges
~New Batteries (all sizes)
~Dry Erase markers
~Glue
~Construction Paper
~Markers & Colored Pencils
~Household items: foil, wax paper, coffee filters, toothpicks, straws, cereal/boxes
~Toys: Legos, building toys, science kits
