Week In Review and a Look Ahead:
Friday, October 20, 2023
Our 6th graders are off on a field trip to Hawk Mountain this coming Tuesday and Wednesday. Please follow the guidelines provided to our students that include bringing a packed lunch on your specific day (half will attend on Tuesday and half on Wednesday). Our 7th and 8th grade field trips will take place in May and information on these events will be provided later in the year.
On Friday, October 13, we held our first dance of the year. We had a fantastic turn-out with over 480 students in attendance! Our Student Council members did a great job planning and running the show and our student guests had lots of fun dancing, taking pictures, celebrating the costumes, and building memories. WIth so many students in attendance, drop-off and pick-up is quite a challenge. We will continue to organize and announce our traffic patterns and ask our families to review the procedures prior to the next dance to help facilitate the most efficient system possible at the end of the evening. Enjoy the pictures of some of our contest winners below:
Bi-Annual PAYS Survey
On Thursday, November 9, our 6th and 8th graders will be participating in the bi-annual PAYS survey. This survey provides anonymous valuable information in our efforts to promote and protect healthy and safe choices of our students. Parents/Guardians are asked to view the video below as well as click HERE to learn more information as well as procedures to opt your child out of taking this survey if you choose. Click HERE for Frequently Asked Questions. Click the video image below for further information.

The week of October 23 – 27 is Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week’s mission is to help keep kids drug-free. Red Ribbon Week will culminate in a district-wide “Red Out” on Friday, October 27th. We hope to see everyone wearing red!
