Counseling and Mental Health
Is there a plan for scheduling for the 2020-2021 school year?
Mrs. Waisner will provide an online tutorial for all things scheduling which parents and students will need to review. From there, a Google form will be sent to register for classes. This will be sent in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out!
Each spring, students work on their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP), will that take place this year?
Yes, the ICAP is a very important guide for students to help navigate their high school coursework and activities for achieving personal career goals, post-secondary planning, and provide individual pathway options. Students are currently asked to complete this via Canvas in Mrs. Waisner's "Counseling" course under the assignments tab.
What about students enrolled in the Flex program who have lost their employment or have reduced hours?
Students are encouraged to continue to log and submit their Flex hours if possible. However, students who do not complete the required hours will not be penalized if they have suffered reduced hours or loss of employment.
