What I Made and Why
Recipe
- 1 kg of Chicken Breast
- 3 tsp of Soya Sauce
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Green Chilies
- One medium sized Onion
- 1 Inch of Ginger
- 1 tsp of Garlic
- 1 tsp of Salt
- 1 tsp of Black Pepper (powder)
- 2 tbsp of Cornstarch
- 2 tsbp of Sugar
- 2 Cups of canned crushed tomatos
What Are The Ingredients I Changed?

- 1 kg of Organic Chicken Breast
- 3 tsp of Soya Sauce
- 2 Eggs

- 1 green Garden Picked Bell Pepper
- 1 tsp of Garlic
- 1 tsp of Sea Salt
- 1 tsp of Black Pepper (powder)
- 2 tbsp of Cornstarch
- 2 tsbp of Sugar
- 2 Cups of canned crushed tomatos
What's The Point?
I specifically chose these three ingredients in my original recipe as I knew If changing them would greatly impact my dish in terms of how healthy it would be. First of all, I replaced the 1 tsp of salt with sea salt. Sea Salt is rich in nutrients like calcium,sodium,potassium,and is also known to help treat diabetic people by maintain sugar levels by reducing on the intake of insulin medication. Secondly, I replaced the chicken breast with an organic one. There are a lot of benefits from eating organic chicken. Organic chicken have less chances of being toxic compared to commercially-raised chicken as they add pesticides,hormones,and antibiotics which can be toxic to us. They are also known to be less in fat to prevent heart disease. Lastly, instead of a store bought green pepper, I chose a garden picked one. Despite organic food, garden picked vegetables are free unlike organic food that is almost double the price of our regular food. They also tend to be high in flavor.
