Christiaan Huygens is not only a Dutch astronomer but also a physicist and mathematician.
Christiaan also invented the Pendulum Clock or you may know it as the Grandfather Clock.
1655
Christiaan was looking at the sky one night through his telescope when he saw a bright moon in orbit around Saturn. He called it "Saturni Luna" but later to be renamed Titan.
Christiaan first described the shape of Saturn's rings.
He also built the most powerful telescope in history and used it to view the planets in our Solar System.
1659
Christiaan drew the first map of Mars.
